Product Description

The PRO2A 14.5" 5.56 NATO Mid Length Non-Reciprocating (NR) Side Charging Melonite M-LOK Upper Receiver Assembly with Flash Can offers a highly premium manual design paired with seamless legal compliance. Built around a precision-machined billet aluminum receiver, this architecture deletes the traditional rear charging handle for a left-side lever that remains stationary while cycling. To meet civilian legal length guidelines without federal NFA short-barreled rifle registration, an extended blast-forwarding linear Flash Can is professionally pinned and welded, permanently extending the 14.5-inch barrel footprint past the legal 16-inch OAL civilian threshold.

Key Features

• Non-Reciprocating Side Charging Architecture: High-leverage left-side charging handle provides superior manual weapon operation, remaining forward and completely static during firing sequences to ensure clear physical space under optics.
• Non-NFA Legal Compliance: Professional pin-and-weld attachment permanently links the extended Flash Can to the barrel threads, yielding a legal 16" overall configuration with zero tax stamp hassles.
• Blast-Forwarding Linear Flash Can: Mitigates harsh lateral concussion waves and pushes explosive muzzle flash, powder expansion gases, and sonic reports downrange directly toward targets.
• Smoother Mid-Length Gas Profile: Employs an optimized gas port distance to drop cyclic bolt velocities, lowering mechanical recoil fatigue and minimizing interior fouling blowback.
• Premium Melonite Structural Defense: Heavy-duty 4150 CMV steel is thoroughly liquid nitrided to secure supreme environmental corrosion resistance and a longer bore throat life.

Why Choose This Product?

This premium 14.5-inch pinned and welded assembly modernizes standard carbine platforms into an ultra-ergonomic tactical solution. Deleting the rear charging mechanism allows shooters to cycle rounds or clear disruptions with an intuitive off-hand stroke without ever losing their sight picture or cheek weld on large optics. Mated to an ultra-soft cycling mid-length gas configuration and finished with a permanent legal-length linear blast solution, it provides home builders and hard-use operators with a compact, non-NFA restricted upper receiver built for total field dominance.
