Orders and Shipping

Why does it take several days for us to ship Uppers/AR Rifles or Pistols?

We are a built to order company. That means the Upper/AR does not get built until an order is placed. This is because we have hundreds of different options/configurations for our products and it is impossible to pre-build these before a sale. We have the individual parts in stock. Once an order is confirmed, it takes time to assemble and test the configuration. Usually we can get it done in 1-2 business days but wait times can increase during busy season.  

 

Do you have a storefront where i can come in person and browse your offerings?

Yes of course. Our storefront is located at 302 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Cumming GA 30040. Open Hours are posted at the bottom of this page. 

 

I am at the Final Checkout page and i hit the Place Order button BUT nothing happens!

There could be several reasons why this happens:

1) Most common reason: Your credit/debit card was declined. Please check with your bank to make sure your card has no holds or limits. 

2) Invalid date or credit card number was entered 

3) Missing fields in the billing or shipping info area 

3) Billing information entered does not match the billing info of the card used. 

Note: In most cases, you will have to close your browser (and all browser tabs) and restart the browser and go through checkout again to clear this error. 

 

Where do i enter the discount code?

You can enter it on the shopping cart page or the final checkout page. There is an area where it says "Apply Discount Code". Only one discount code per order. 

 

How come my discount code does not work?

There are restrictions to the use of our discount codes. All of our discount codes are for Pro2A Branded AR rifles, pistols, uppers and parts only. The codes will NOT work on optics, handguns, rifles, shotguns made by others.

 

This is my 1st time ordering a firearm online. What is the procedure?

Ordering a firearm or FFL item online is easy. Please go here: https://pro2a-tactical.com/how-to-purchase-a-firearm-online  and follow the instructions on how to purchase a gun online. 

 

I do not see my local FFL on the FFL locator page during checkout

Our FFL locator function does not show ALL available FFLs in your area. If you do not see the FFL you want to use, please click on the option to advance to the next page where you will enter your FFL's address in the shipping address field. Please note that the email address entered should be your email address.

 

I ordered a firearm/FFL item but it never took me to the FFL locator page

If this is the case, just reply back to your order confirmation email and let us know which FFL Dealer you would like to use for shipping. We will then update the order for you. 

 

Do you allow local pickup?

Yes of course. You are always welcome to pickup your order at our facility located at 302 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Cumming GA 30040. Please note that there are restrictions on firearm/FFL item pickups for out of state residents. 

 

I am not that computer savvy. Can i order over the phone?

Yes of course. Please call us at 404-496-8923 and we can help you place the order over the phone. If we are busy, please leave a voice message and call back number and we will call you back asap. 

 

Can i pay by cashier's check or money order?

Yes of course. We accept cashier's checks and money orders. You can send payment to : Pro2a Tactical, 302 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Cumming GA 30040. We will let you know when we have received payment. 

 

Do you have layaway?

Yes. We can do layaway on just about any item in our store. Our layaway terms are minimum 20% down. You have 90 days to complete the layaway. You can pay it off early if you want it shipped immediately. Layaway sales are final. All money including deposits are non refundable. Layaway deposits can be applied as store credit within the 90 days. After 90 days if layaway is not completed, all deposits will be forfeited. Just email us at [email protected] and let us which item you are interested in and we will send you a link to start the layaway. 

 

Can i pay by crypto?

Yes. We accept Bitcoin or Ethereum. We can send you a payment request (address) using Coinbase. 

 

When will my order ship? 

Full AR-15/AR-10 Firearms and upper assemblies require several business days to process. This is because we are a build to order company. Processing time is usually displayed on the home page (sliding banner) and also noted on your order confirmation email. Individual parts and accessories will have a shorter processing time as those do not require assembly. 

 

I just placed an order but my account shows i have no pending orders.

Please do not worry. Our system has a delay in showing your orders in your account profile. If you received an order confirmation email from us, it means your order was successfully placed and it is in processing. 

 

Do you send tracking information when my order has shipped?

Yes. We send tracking info via email. Please check your junk mail folder as a lot of times the tracking info email gets mistakenly tagged as spam. 

 

Can i change or add something to my order?

Yes as long as the order has not been shipped yet. We can accomodate change and/or addition requests. Just send an email to [email protected] along with your order number and let us know what changes you need made. 

 

Can you ship Uppers, Upper Kits or Complete Uppers to my residence/office?

Yes. Upper receivers are not considered firearms and can ship directly to you without going through an FFL

 

My order contains an upper and lower but i want the upper sent to my home.

If you order contains both of these items and you want them shipped to two different locations, you will be charged an extra $14.99 shipping fee. 

 

Do you offer layaway?

Yes. Our Layaway terms are minimum 20% down. You can deposit up to 50%. Term is for maximum 90 days. You can pay it off early if you want it shipped immediately. Layaway sales are final. All money, including deposits are non-refundable and will be applied as store credit if the Layaway is canceled for any reason. Please contact us and we will send you a link to complete the layaway checkout. 

 

Do you offer next day shipping?

No. Most of our items require a processing time. Upper Assemblies/Full AR Rifles and Pistols require additional time for testing and assembly. Because of this we do not offer next day service. 

 

Do you charge sales tax?

We only collect sales tax if you are a Georgia Resident. We do not collect sales tax online if you are outside of GA. For non GA residents, it is the customer's responsbility to report the sales tax to their state's tax dept.. In Store purchases and pickups will be charged sales tax.   

 

Do you offer FFL Transfers and if yes what are your transfer fees?

Yes but with restrictions. We do not accept transfers of AR type weapons made by others. We also do not accept transfers from individuals. We only accept transfers from other FFLs. Our transfer fees are FREE if

1) you are a Veteran, Military, LEO or First Responder   OR   2) you have purchased a PRO2A Branded AR-15 / AR-10 Rifle or Pistol from us previously

If not the transfer fee is $20. $10 per additional weapon. 

 

I see you also sell on Gunbroker Auction Site. Do your discount codes work on gunbroker?

No. Discount codes displayed are only for website orders. Gunbroker prices are already discounted and are the same as the website prices after discount most of the time. 

 

I would like to see your products first hand. Where can i find a Pro2A Tactical dealer?

We have dealers all around the country. Please visit: https://pro2a-tactical.com/dealer-locator  to find your nearest dealer. The list grows everyday so check back often. Different dealers will have different inventory so it is a good idea to call them beforehand. 

 

Do you ship outside of the USA?

No. We only ship to the United States and its Protectorate Islands including Guam, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and etc.

 

Restrictions

How do i know if a firearm/magazine/part is legal in my state?

Different states have different gun laws. Please consult with your local FFL before ordering if you are not sure. They should be able to answer your questions about the legality of the item you are interested in purchasing.  

 

Do you ship uppers to CA, WA, CT, MA, NY, NJ or states with restrictions?

Yes. We ship uppers, individual parts and components and other non FFL items (except 80% lowers) to all 50 States. Please ensure you follow your state's gun laws in putting together an AR-15 or AR-10 weapon. 

 

Do you ship full AR-15 or AR-10 Rifles,Pistols, Lowers to Restricted States?

CA - Yes but only rifles and lowers, No pistols. We can make it compliant or your FFL must do it for you. 

CT - Yes but we will only ship if your FFL will make it state compliant for you

DC - No shipping

DE - Yes but we will only ship if your FFL will make it state compliant for you

HI - Yes but only rifles and lowers, No pistols

MA - Yes but we will only ship if your FFL will make it state compliant for you

MD - Yes but only rifles and lowers, No pistols

NY - Yes but we can must make it compliant or your FFL must do it for you. 

NJ - Yes but we can must make it compliant or your FFL must do it for you. 

IL - No shipping

WA - No shipping

 

Products 

Your website shows the product in stock. Does that mean it is really in stock?

Yes 99% of the time. Although mistakes do happen, we use live inventory and if it shows in stock that means we should have it. 

 

Will your 223 Wylde or 5.56 NATO Uppers shoot 223 REM?

Yes. All our 223 Wylde / 5.56 NATO Uppers and weapons will fire both 223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. 

 

Will my AR-15 lower fit on your AR-15 uppers including your NR Side Charging Uppers?

Yes. Our ar-15 uppers including our NR side charging uppers are designed to fit on any standard AR-15 lower receiver.

 

Will my AR-15 lower fit on your Left Handed Uppers?

Yes. Our ar-15 left handed uppers including our left handed NR side charging uppers are designed to fit on any standard AR-15 lower receiver. Our Left Hand Uppers do require that you use a standard bolt catch on your lower receiver. If you have an aftermarket bolt catch, it may not be compatible with our left hand uppers. 

 

Can i change the handguard on your AR rifles and pistols?

Yes. Most of the time we can change it to another one of our offerings. We can also change it to a longer length. You will just have to pay the price difference between the handguards. 

 

I will be installing a suppressor on your AR-15 rifle/pistol. Can you leave off the muzzle device?

Yes. Just mention it in the comments section at the final checkout page and we will NOT install the muzzle device as requested.

 

Will any accessories fit on your AR-15 rifles and pistols?

If your accessories are compatible with standard AR-15s then the answer is YES. 

 

Will the PSA KS-47 lower fit on your 7.62x39 uppers?

No. The KS-47 is designed to fit only on KS-47 uppers. They are not compatible with standard AR-15 uppers.

 

What magazines do your Pistol Caliber Uppers and Lowers use?

All our Pistol Caliber Uppers are designed for Glock Magazines but may also fit other magazine platforms (not the MP5). Our Pistol Caliber lowers are Glock Magazine compatible only. 

 

Will your Pistol Caliber ARs fire +p rounds?

Some +p rounds will be fine. Some will not. This is because all AR Pistol Caliber Barrels (not only ours) have only partially supported chambers. If you fire +p rounds and experience case disintegration, that means the round is too hot for the barrel.  

 

Will your 45 ACP Uppers/ARs fire 45 Super?

No. Do not use 45 Super on our 45 ACP uppers and weapons.

 

Why do your Left Hand ARs NOT have the forward assist and dust cover?

Many reasons but mainly 1) Cost   2) Forward assists and dust covers are becoming obsolete in today's AR World. Most AR training today teaches you not to use the forward assist anymore. Our mission is to provide a high quality but yet budget friendly option to left handed shooters so that means not offering these outdated options to save on cost so that we are able provide a high quality product to our customers that doesn't break the bank. 

 

I see you use Gibbz Arms Uppers for your NR Side Charging Uppers. Do you offer their lightweight versions and their latching handles?

No. We only offer the standard G4, G9 and G10 uppers with the standard Gen 2 Handle. You can always contact Gibbz and they will be more than happy to sell you the options. 

 

I ordered the Adjustable Gas Block. What are the instructions for adjusting it?

Our adjustable gas block has an adjustment screw and a locking screw. Depending on which model you have, the adjustment screw can be on the side or in front of the block. If the front screw is in the middle of the block, that is the adjustment screw. You must loosen the locking screw before attempting to adjust the adjustment screw. We set it to 100% open when we ship it out so that it acts like a normal gas block by default.

 

What is the thread pitch on your 223/5.56 and 300 Blackout Barrels?

We use standard thread pitches. On 223/5.56 it is 1/2-28. On 300 Blackout it is 5/8-24. 

 

Warranty, Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges

Can i cancel my order? 

Yes if it has not shipped. Please notify us early. If you order an upper or full AR rifle/pistol and we have already built it then a cancellation fee of 10% applies. If the order has already shipped, you will have to ship it back to us and we have a restocking fee of 15%.
