Product Description

The P2A PATRIOT 8.5" 458 SOCOM AR-15 Pistol - FDE represents the pinnacle of compact big-bore capability, engineered from the ground up to handle the massive kinetic thresholds of the legendary .458 SOCOM thumper cartridge. Designed specifically to achieve maximum operational efficiency from a short barrel envelope, this platform extracts devastating energy transfer in a highly maneuverable sub-carbine layout. This pistol uses a finely tuned pistol-length direct-impingement gas block setup built to stabilize cycling pressures, guaranteeing reliable mechanical extraction and feeding. Upper receiver, lower receiver, and rail components feature a highly resilient Cerakote Magpul Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish to ensure absolute field protection from environmental elements.

Every compact Patriot build is precision-machined to strict technical tolerances, incorporating an enlarged ejection port to accommodate reliable clearing of heavy big-bore brass casings. Partnering with some of the best manufacturers in the industry, every firearm is carefully built and assembled by an experienced team of armorers who understand the absolute importance of reliability and repeatability. Out of the box, it combines milspec-or-better reliability with structural longevity because every patriot deserves it.

Key Features

• Compact Big-Bore Footprint: The heavy 8.5-inch barrel configuration grants exceptional maneuverability and fast tracking dynamics inside vehicle corridors, tight residential environments, or thick brush tracking zones.
• Resilient Cerakote Magpul FDE Coating: Upper receiver, lower receiver, and modular rail components are finished in durable Flat Dark Earth Cerakote for elite abrasion resistance and protection from environmental elements.
• 8.5" Premium Melonite Barrel: Precision-crafted from elite 4150 CMV steel and finished with a QPQ Melonite treatment for robust bore protection, elite surface hardness, and extensive lifespan under high heat cycles.
• Optimized 1:14 Twist Rate: The 1/14 twist rate geometry is engineered specifically to provide tight ballistic stabilization across a wide spectrum of heavy big-bore projectiles, ensuring uniform point-of-impact grouping.
• High-Efficiency Muzzle Brake: Equipped with a rugged muzzle device threaded in 5/8-24 to aggressively mitigate muzzle rise and tame large-caliber felt recoil.
• 7-Inch Modular Free-Float Handguard: Features a slim profile M-LOK rail geometry alongside a continuous top Picatinny track for mounting tactical optics, lights, and forward hand stops easily.

Why Choose This Product?

The P2A PATRIOT 8.5" 458 SOCOM Pistol - FDE eliminates the configuration headaches of build-it-yourself options by providing a fully tuned, factory headspaced platform. While custom big-bore short barrel configurations often introduce volatile cycling failures or feed ramp jams, this system utilizes a dedicated heavy extractor bolt face and optimized feed ramps matched to an 8.5-inch CMV melonite barrel. Delivering massive, uncompromised stopping power inside an agile layout makes this an outstanding asset for defensive use, close-quarters tactical strings, or dense brush hunting deployment where immediate kinetic transfer is a necessity.

Coupled with a 1:14 twist rate ready to stabilize heavy payloads, a rugged 7-inch free-float M-LOK rail, and an integrated Cerakote Magpul FDE finish that limits environmental degradation, this platform stands as a relentlessly durable, fast-handling thumper designed to run flawlessly right out of the box.
