Product Description

The P2A PATRIOT 12.5" 300 Blackout AR-15 Pistol - FDE is an elite, intermediate tactical platform engineered to balance compact agility with optimized velocity retention and downstream ballistic output. Chambered in the inherently versatile .300 AAC Blackout cartridge, this large-format pistol pairs an extended 12.5-inch barrel structure with a highly resilient Magpul Flat Dark Earth (FDE) Cerakote protective finish. Engineered for fluid maneuvering, close-quarters operations, and personal defense, this firearm implements a standard pistol-length direct-impingement gas setup calibrated to generate superior dwell times and smooth cycling under both suppressed and unsuppressed applications.

Every intermediate Patriot pistol configuration is machined to strict technical tolerances and factory headspaced to ensure uniform component tracking under heavy operational stress. Out of the box, it converts traditional AR-15 ergonomics into an incredibly balanced personal defense weapon system designed for smooth tracking, stable recoil impulse mitigation, and extensive component lifespan.

Key Features

• Optimized Velocity Retention: The 12.5-inch barrel configuration grants an exceptional compromise by significantly boosting projectile velocity and energy yields for supersonic loads while preserving high mobility in close spaces.
• Calibrated 1:8 Twist Rate: Engineered specifically to provide the necessary rotational torque to stabilize a vast spectrum of projectile profiles, ranging from light supersonic configurations up to heavy-grain subsonic defensive bullets flawlessly.
• Resilient Cerakote Magpul FDE Coating: Upper receiver, lower receiver, and modular rail components are finished in durable Flat Dark Earth Cerakote for elite abrasion resistance and protection from environmental elements.
• 12.5" Premium Melonite Barrel: Precision-crafted from elite 4150 CMV steel and finished with a QPQ Melonite treatment for robust bore protection, elite surface hardness, and extensive lifespan under high heat cycles.
• 10-Inch Modular Free-Float Handguard: Features a slim profile M-LOK rail geometry alongside a continuous top Picatinny track for mounting precision tactical optics, lights, and forward hand stops easily.

Why Choose This Product?

The P2A PATRIOT 12.5" 300 Blackout Pistol - FDE eliminates the configuration headaches of build-it-yourself options by providing a fully tuned, factory headspaced platform. While ultra-short profiles can reduce critical velocity metrics for supersonic rounds, the 12.5-inch barrel length hits a magnificent sweet spot for uncompromised cycling reliability and increased muzzle velocity retention while remaining extremely compact. The inclusion of the 1:8 twist rate ensures that heavier defensive subsonic hollow points and match ammunition maintain uniform point-of-impact grouping straight out of the box.

This layout retains a traditional thread footprint ready to host standard muzzle brakes, compensators, flash cans, or direct-thread suppressors. Coupled with a 4150 CMV melonite steel barrel, a protective Cerakote FDE finish that limits environmental degradation, and a rugged 10-inch free-float M-LOK handguard, this large-format pistol stands as a relentlessly dependable defensive powerhouse built for a lifetime of hard use.
