The P2A HERO 10.5" 300 Blackout 1/7 or 1/5 Pistol Length Melonite M-LOK Rifle (SBR) is a professional-grade Short Barreled Rifle custom-engineered to deliver exceptional versatility and performance in the inherently short-barrel-optimized 300 AAC Blackout caliber. This legal NFA platform improves upon standard configurations with premium billet aluminum receivers that enhance durability, a flared magwell for faster reloads, and an integrated trigger guard designed for use with gloves. The 10.5-inch 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium barrel with Melonite treatment provides excellent powder burn efficiency and terminal energy, while the selectable 1:7 or ultra-fast 1:5 twist rates allow optimal stabilization of both lighter supersonic loads and heavy subsonic projectiles (such as 220gr). The pistol-length direct-impingement gas system is carefully tuned for reliable cycling across a wide range of ammunition, and the free-float M-LOK handguard offers modular accessory mounting without affecting barrel harmonics.

The P2A HERO 10.5" 300 Blackout SBR addresses the key limitations of standard short-barreled platforms by combining the ballistic advantages of the 300 Blackout cartridge with premium billet construction and selectable twist rates. The 10.5-inch barrel length strikes an excellent balance of maneuverability, complete powder burn, and retained velocity for both subsonic suppressed use and hard-hitting supersonic performance. The option of a 1:5 ultra-fast twist ensures heavy subsonic projectiles remain fully stabilized, while the 1:7 provides broad versatility. The pistol-length gas system is specifically tuned for reliable function across ammunition types, and the free-float M-LOK rail system allows extensive customization without compromising accuracy.
