Description

The Pro2A Tactical 5-inch .45 ACP Non-Reciprocating (NR) Side Charging Complete Upper Receiver assembly brings hard-hitting, micro-compact firepower to the AR-45 platform. Hand-assembled and quality verified in Georgia, this system replaces the traditional rear charging architecture with an advanced, static side-charger mechanism built into a rugged billet receiver. Featuring an ultra-short 5-inch Melonite barrel operating on a dependable blowback system, it provides a premium drop-in solution for micro pistol builds, home defense setups, or discreet personal defense weapons utilizing natively subsonic heavy projectiles.

Key Features

• Non-Reciprocating Side Charging: Enhances weapon ergonomics with a left-side charging handle that stays static while cycling, preventing optics obstruction and providing enhanced charging leverage.
• Hard-Hitting Subsonic Performance: Optimizes the heavy-weight ballistics of the .45 ACP cartridge into an agile 5-inch micro configuration that is perfectly suited for suppression and close-quarters use.
• Straight Blowback Action: Built without gas blocks or gas tubes, dropping complex failure points to guarantee steady feeding and extraction cycles with heavy defense ammunition.
• Premium Melonite Hardness: The 4150 steel barrel is treated inside and out with an ultra-hard Melonite finish, providing extreme corrosion resistance and an easily cleaned bore surface.

Why Choose This Product?

Stepping up to a side-charging layout dramatically changes operational leverage and clearing speed on compact micro-caliber platforms where frame real estate is limited. The Pro2A 5" 45 ACP NR Side Charging Upper Receiver matches its premium billet architecture to a factory-headspaced blowback bolt configuration to handle large-bore pistol impulses safely and smoothly. Engineered with a revised feed cone optimized for heavy ball ammo and wide hollow points alike, it eliminates feeding hiccups natively. It is the definitive choice for operators searching for custom-tier rigidity and ultimate portable stopping power in a drop-in package.
