Magazine Adapter: Optional. The Sylvan Arms 9mm Magazine Adapter is a drop in fit that turns a standard ar-15 lower to a 9mm capable lower that takes Glock Compatible Magazines.
Bolt Carrier Group: BCG/CH is Optional. Select Nitride if you need a BCG to complete Upper . All our PCC BCGs are M16 Profile, MP Tested, 8620 Carrier/Bolt. Nitride is a surface hardening process that creates a tough and slick surface. Standard Charging Handle Included if BCG Option is selected.
Color: Standard Black or FDE or Gray. Standard is Black. Magpul FDE or Magpul Stealth Gray is extra. Look at pictures to see the type/color of receiver and handguard you will receive.
MUZZLE DEVICE: Standard A2 Flash Hider or Competition Muzzle Brake. Muzzle Brakes are for recoil reduction. The baffles and ports are milled larger to drive pressure up and to keep the muzzle down more effectively.

All our uppers are carefully assembled and tested and ready to go out of the box. Every component is chosen to ensure a high quality upper is produced. Every upper is custom built to order and we go the extra mile to ensure the finished product is to your specifications.
Both 9mm uppers start with AR-15/AR-9 MILSPEC Billet Aluminum receivers, mated to Nitride/Melonite treated barrels. Alpha Shooting Sports and Tactical Kinetics are our major partners in the industry and they produce high quality, accurate barrels. The Rails are a free floated system, M-LOK slots on all three sides, full length picatinny rail at the top, lightweight handguards. Barrel Nuts are made out of solid steel to ensure a solid mounting system.
Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle is OPTIONAL. We offer a 9mm NITRIDE BCG, M16 Profile, Properly Staked, MP Tested, 8620 Single or Two Piece Bolt and a Standard Charging Handle.
Also an OPTION is COLOR. We can change the receiver and handguard to MAGPUL FDE (FLAT DARK EARTH) COLOR (see pictures).
We also offer the OPTION to add the Sylvan Arms Glock Conversion Block to turn your standard ar-15 lower to a 9mm capable lower without the need to purchase a separate specific AR-9 lower receiver. Direct drop into the magwell, no drilling or machining needed. Accepts popular Glock 9mm magazines.
